Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns and Refunds”  below for more information.

Online Bicycle Purchases

We do not offer shipping for bicycles purchased online. However, all bicycles listed on our website are available for Click and Collect. Select your desired bike and size, and place your order online. If the bike you want is not listed, please contact, and we will check its availability. To add and have accessories installed, include them in your cart and specify your installation preferences in the notes.

For assistance with determining the correct size, please reach out to us at, and we will be happy to assist you.

We are currently not shipping products purchased online at this time.  All orders will need to be picked-up at our physical location, 316 Dundas Street East, Waterdown, Ontario.

In-Store Pick-up

In-store pickup is complimentary for all items, including bicycles and oversized products. Most orders will be ready within two business days. Please note that some items may require additional processing time for transfer from off-site locations or for assembly. We will notify you by phone or email once your order is ready for pickup.

If you need an item urgently, please contact us to confirm its availability before visiting our store. Unless prior arrangements are made, orders must be collected within 30 days to avoid a 10% restocking fee.

** Due to recent parts shortages we reserve the right to limit the purchase of service parts to one unit per customer.**

Order Fulfilment

If any items from your order are unavailable due to an inventory discrepancy, we will notify you. Upon submitting an order through our e-commerce store, your credit card is pre-authorized for the total order cost, including applicable taxes and shipping. Before processing your order, Bicycle Works will charge only the amount corresponding to the available products and applicable taxes. Any out-of-stock items that are canceled will not be included in the final charge to your card.

** We reserve the right to cancel any online orders due to suspicious activity or for any other security reasons.**

Gift Receipt

You may request a gift receipt for your package, either in addition to a regular receipt or on its own, by using the comments box on the Checkout screen. Items returned with a gift receipt are eligible for in-store credit or exchange only.

Returns and Refunds

Parts, Accessories and Clothing

We provide a 30-day return policy (extended to 45 days in December). If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return it to our store at 316 Dundas Street East, (either in person or shipped for a refund.  If shipping using a trackable shipping service of your choice. To qualify for a full refund, the item must be unused, in the original condition, and accompanied by the original packaging and receipt. Items returned without the original packaging will incur a 20% restocking fee. We do not offer exchanges, only refunds. For size or color exchanges, please return the original product for a refund and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures a faster and more efficient process.

* Returns being shipped should be sent to Bicycle Works, 316 Dundas Street East, Waterdown, ON L8B 1A9  Attention: E-Comm Returns. Return fees are not covered by Bicycle Works. Online orders can also be returned in person to our store free of charge.

Bicycles may be returned within 30 days if they are in new and unused condition. Upon collection, we will review the bicycle with you to ensure it meets your expectations. Bicycles that have been accessorized will incur a 20% restocking fee for each accessory.

Final Sale Items

Cycling shorts are non-returnable. Most apparel brands we carry provide a comfort guarantee; please consult a sales associate for details or visit the brand’s website. Tools must be returned in their original sealed packaging; if opened, they are non-returnable. All nutrition products are non-returnable. E-bike batteries cannot be returned.


If you have an issue with your product please don’t hesitate to email us at If you believe it's a manufacturers defect and would like to inquire about a warranty, send us an email and we can assist in the process. A detailed and sharp photo(s) of the defective product might be required along with the original receipt.

If the product you would like to warranty is from a brand we sell but was purchased elsewhere we can still help as long as you have the original receipt. This process may take some time for company reps to review; please allow for at least two weeks to process.

We know your gear gets wet and dirty through regular outdoor use, but please clean it off before photographing it or bringing it in.

We diligently work to keep prices and inventory in our online catalog up-to-date and accurate, and we aim for the same precision and timeliness with all other information provided.
